一、英文简历的种类
1、中式英文简历
中式简历中，常常包括政治面貌、性格及身高体重等信息。如果中英文简历一起递交，建议中文简历中不写政治面貌。因为如果去外企工作，背景中的政治色彩越少越好，起码没有必要让老外知道。性格是主观的东西，有经验的招聘人员从来不相信任何人写自己的性格，因为它不是硬性的东西，不象学历、技能。有些人如果认为公司要招聘一个比较活跃一点的'，便会在简历中写性格开朗。有的是真的相信自己性格开朗，有的是觉得写上更好，其实没必要。
2、港式英文简历
香港出版的简历书写技巧书籍中都要求年龄、婚否、报纸的招聘广告中还要求求职者写上工资现状及预期工资，这些都属于隐私问题，美式简历则不要求提供这些信息。
3、英式英文简历
很接近港式，但个人资料没有港式说得那么多，篇幅长但不详细，我们这里不做过多评论。
4、美式英文简历

1、招聘人员怎样鉴别简历？

第二，说明你对行文格式，专业写作形象还不熟悉。美国很多职位很高的大老板，在看下属写东西时，一点点小错，哪怕只是换了一种字体，漏了一个逗号，多了一个空格都能及时指出来。说明他们眼很尖速度很快。另外，写的内容千万不要多，而且要控制在一页纸内。
3、简历中的任何字句，都有可能成为面试中的话题。
切记：只写有把握的，没有把握的不要写，要实事求是，千万不要夸张，外资公司是最忌讳撒谎的，一旦让他觉得你在撒谎，你就完全失去了进入这个公司的资格，比如说，你在简历中写了你会讲日语，实际上却只学过一点皮毛，那就得小心碰上懂日文的老外，虽然不一定会说中文，但会一两门外语的人大有人在，所以还是谨慎为妙。
