说课是20世纪80年代后期随着教改深入而产生的带有教育科研性质的教研活动，其理论和实践越来越受到重视。说课是教师依据课程标准、教育教学理念、口头表述自己对教学内容、教学目标、教学重难点、教学方法、教学程序等进行的创造性设计的一种教研形式。通俗地说，就是阐述“教什么内容，为什么教这些内容，怎么教和为什么这么教”。由于说课能够展现教师在备课中的思维过程，凸显教师对课程标准、教材、学生的理解和把握的水平以及运用有关教育理论和教学原则组织教学的能力，并且时间短、易操作、见效快，因此深受教育行政、科研部门和基层学校的青睐，常被应用于教师招聘、基本功竞赛和教学研究等活动中。
思考一：说课，是背长篇累牍的教育理论，还是谈独具匠心的教学设计？
说道理、讲方法是说课的一个显著特征，但绝不是说课的主体。成功的说课应把教学设计和教学理论有机结合在一起，而且要略侧重于说教学设计。教材特点和学生实际是说课的两个重心。教师一定要紧紧围绕这两个重心说自己精心设计的教学活动或任务，以此来展示自己对教育教学理论理解的深度，展示自己对学生学情把握的准确度，展示自己在教学设计上的独到之处。“说”是形式，“课”及“课理”是内容，只有做到形式与内容的辩证统一，才能达到预期的说课目的。换句话说，说课不是长篇大论地讲教学理论，而是要谈自己如何运用教学理论解决教学中的实际问题。
思考二：说课，是纸上谈兵，还是上课前的预演？
说课本身的不足之处在于其过程没有学生参与。为了避免教师在说课过程中不切实际的随意发挥，说课活动组织者一定要事先告知说课教师学生的英语水平；说课教师要紧紧围绕学生和教材这两个重心设计教学。教学目标的确定、内容的分析、问题的设置、练习的安排以及教学方法的运用，都必须参照学生的实际情况而进行；否则，再好的说课也只是空中楼阁。
说课教师要在同行或评委面前说出自己对教材和课程标准的认识，如何处理知识点，打算采取什么样的方法授课，学生可能会在什么地方碰到问题，当问题出现时采取什么样的方法去解决，以及针对不同的问题和学生将会选择什么样的教学方法等。在这个过程中，同行或评委对说课教师的说课情况加以分析，发现其中存在的问题，探讨用什么方法来帮助说课教师改进和提高。可见，说课的过程就是发现问题和解决问题的过程，是说课者和评课者共同提高的过程。说课教师要在上课之前多发现一些问题，并设计适合的解决方案，以提高课堂教学效率。
思考三：说课，该采用哪种语言和叙述方式？
用英语还是汉语说课，说课活动的组织者要考虑实际情况，因时、因地、因人而定。
教师说课应尽量脱稿，必要时可浏览说课提纲；注意恰当地运用肢体语言、手势和眼神表述自己的设计和意图，声情并茂地说课，并与评委进行眼神交流，把评委的注意力吸引到自己预设的`情景中，使他们受到感染，产生共鸣。
说课教师面对的是同行或者教学研究者，因而宜采用陈述性语言，有条理地说明自己的设计意图及具体的操作策略。说课教师偶尔还要模拟课堂中将会出现的教学场景，此时可以暂时把自己的身份切换成教师，通过绘声绘色的课堂语言把预设的教学内容或情境展示给评委。
思考四：在英语说课中，还有哪些细节值得注意？
1.不知道如何说教材。说教材就是说明如何依据某一课在全册或整个单元中的地位确定教学目标和教学的重难点，主要是介绍该课在教材中的地位和作用以及本课与前后课的联系，还要进行简单的教材分析；依据教材内容和学生实际，说明自己对教材如何处理以及处理的理论依据。值得注意的是，说教材要做到点到为止，不要过多展开。
2.教学设计缺乏创新。说课是上课的预演，强调从学生和教材实际出发来设计教学任务，但这并不意味着说课教师在设计教学时固步自封，不求创新。
3.主线不突出，语言描述混乱。说课教师要善于用“Step 1，Step 2，Step 3，…”，“Pre-reading，While-reading，Post-reading”等来加以区分。
4.忽视板书的辅助作用。或许由于受说课时间的限制，有些教师在说课时没有板书。其实，适当的板书可以对说课起到画龙点睛的作用。在说课前，教师可以用粉笔把黑板一分为二，一半用作书写说课的主要步骤和关键词，另外一半用来呈现虚拟课堂教学的板书设计，帮助评委或同行在听时在大脑中重构教学设计，说明难以言尽的步骤和设计，或凸显自己设计的独特之处。

“It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.” This beginning sentence of the book seems to tell us the main story of the book is about the marriage of rich men. The heroine of the book is Elizabeth and at the chapter One, we are told that the father Mr. Bennet prefers Elizabeth among his daughters, in this case, Elizabeth must be a girl who is more special and intelligent. The story is about love and marriage. Charlotte married Collins because his fortune and she feels nervous about her age even the man is so old-fashioned and ingratiating. However, their marriage is about money and they do not get the real happy. The other man Wickham is a handsome but a man who is a liar. He lies to Elizabeth to gain her appreciation. And his love with Lydia is shallow and about appearance. The love of Jane and Bingley has a better ending. They have love in the relationship and appreciate each other because of the deeper virtue. But they do come through a lot because the misunderstanding they had before. The love of Elizabeth and the hero of the book Darcy responses the title Pride and Prejudice. In the eye of Elizabeth, Darcy is no doubt pride and arrogant. Darcy falls in love with Elizabeth and proposes marriage to her, but he is still very arrogant so Elizabeth refuses him directly. Darcy feels hard hit and regrets of being arrogant. However, Elizabeth has a prejudice about Darcy at the very beginning and mistaken believes in Wickham but she finally knows the truth and feels shame of her family. Darcy moves Elizabeth with his pleasant virtue in the end.

Maybe you have seen the novel before －The Little Prince, or not. Tonight, I’m so happy to share with you about my feeling after I have seen it. Actually, I’m deeply attracted, touched by the protagonist of the story: the pure & innocent little prince.
After leaving his home planet and his beloved rose, the little prince journeys around the universe, ending up on earth. Before the prince lands on earth, the prince hops from one neighbouring planet to another. On each planet, the prince meets a different type of adult and reveals frivolities and weakness.(other than the fifth figure ,I think ,it seems the lamplighter’s selfless devotion to his orders earns him the little prince’s admiration.)Once on earth, however, the little prince becomes a student as well as a teacher .From his friend “the fox”, the little prince learns three important lessons: Only the heart can see correctly; The prince’s time away from his planet has made him appreciate his rose more; Love entails－responsibility . And in turn, he passed on those lessons to the narrators before.
At last, there is a screen depict the novel. It’s when the railway switchman works for enormous trains that rush back and forth. Everybody has an experience of a journey, but the rushed voyages never result in happiness because as the switchman informs the princes, people are never happy where they are. Also the train trains rush at each other from opposite direction, suggesting the efforts grown-ups make are contradictory and purposeless. As for the children, they see that the journey is more important than the destination and press their faces the window on their journey, taking in the scenery. So sometimes the efforts we did make our lot better is futile.

从事初中英语教学工作的老师都知道这样一个规律：在初中三年的英语学习过程中，那些养成良好英语学习习惯的学生，即便小学时的基础不好或者是零基础，也能稳步提高自己的成绩；相反，那些学习习惯较差的学生，哪怕基础再好，也会在学习过程中逐步丢失自己的优势，甚至会掉队。因此，良好的学习习惯在英语学习过程中显得尤为重要。笔者拟从如何培养学生良好的英语学习习惯出发，谈一点自己的认识。
一、什么是学习习惯
《中学英语课程标准》指出：“基础教育阶段英语课程的任务是激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣，使学生树立自信心，养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略。”英语教师的首要任务应该是帮助学生养成良好的学习习惯。学习习惯是在学习过程中经过反复练习形成并发展，成为一种个体需要的自动化学习行为方式。良好的学习习惯，有利于调动学生学习的积极性和主动性；有利于形成学习策略，提高学习效率；有利于培养自主学习能力；有利于培养创新精神和创造能力，使学生终身受益。
二、如何培养学习习惯
培养良好的学习习惯不是一蹴而就的，它需要严格要求，且经过长期的训练，重视起始阶段，由易到难、循序渐进。任何一种语言都是一个完整的体系，这个体系包括语言知识（语音、词汇、语法、语篇等）和语言技能（听、说、读、写）两个部分。从认知角度看，听和读是语言理解和信息输入能力，说和写是思想表达和信息输出能力。这四种技能在语言学习中相辅相成，互相促进。
1.培养“听”的习惯
“听”是语言、知识、信息获取的重要手段，是语言学习的第一步。在英语学习过程中可以从以下几个方面着手：
（1）坚持全英文教学。教师在课堂上应尽可能坚持全英文教学，给学生提供一定的语言环境。提醒学生关注教师课堂上的每一句话，并要培养学生认真聆听他人回答问题的习惯。
（2）关注课堂上的听力材料。对课堂上使用的听力材料要坚持做到三个步骤：泛听，即从头至尾粗略地听完，了解听力材料的基本内容，在这一过程中教师可以提出几个难度较低的问题；精听，即逐句播放录音，听清材料中的每个细节；边听边复述。
（3）坚持课外听力练习。鼓励学生通过观看英语节目和收听外文电台，增加自己获取信息的途径。此外，看英文电影、听英文歌曲是练习听力的好方法。
2.培养“说”的习惯
英语首先是一种语言，它的性质决定了“说”的地位。一些学生在经过几年甚至十几年的英语学习后仍然无法开口，成为“准聋哑人”。这一现象值得每一位英语教学工作者重视。教师要鼓励学生不仅在课堂上用英语对话交流，而且要在日常生活中尽量多用英语表达，帮助学生克服害怕犯错、害怕说英语的紧张心理，忽略学生在口语表达中出现的一些不影响理解的小问题，鼓励他们大胆大声地表达自己的想法。
此外，教师可以在课外多创造机会让学生开口说英语。
在初高中英语衔接教学中，教师只有充分了解学生的实际情况，才能把握好教学的起点难度和课堂教学容量。根据任教的高一两个班级英语教学的实际，结合四川新课程改革要求，笔者认为，民族地区有效开展初高中英语衔接教学的难点主要有以下两个方面：
1.学生英语基础薄弱
语言知识体系缺漏，学生音标基本不会读，重音不会认，发音不到位，“方言英语”严重；词汇量严重偏少，基本的初中词汇无法识别和拼写；五种简单句式结构不清楚，主谓宾等基本概念不清晰；基本的时态、语态等语法知识不会用。
语言运用技能缺乏，学生阅读习惯较差，阅读速度较慢，缺乏把握文章的篇章结构和深层次含义的能力，阅读理解错误率较高；无法听懂老师的英文授课，也无法在课堂上用英语表达自己的想法；很难独立、正确地完成一个句子，造出的句子基本上是中国式英语或简单的单词堆砌。
2.初高中英语教学内容跨度大，难度增加
初中英语教学涉及的内容浅显易懂，教学时间充裕，强调学生听说能力的培养，学生仅靠机械记忆，一般都可以解决问题。而高中英语教材不仅容量大，难度也大，时间紧，实施新课改后更是如此。因此，新课改后的高中英语学习，许多问题需要靠学生理解后才能解决，单纯死记硬背已经无济于事。
二、初高中英语衔接教学策略
1.培养良好的英语学习习惯
埃德加富尔所说：“未来的文盲，不再是不识字的人，而是没有学会怎样学习的人。”良好的学习习惯是英语学习的前提。学生刚进入高中，一切都是新鲜的，容易接受新的理念，这个阶段有利于学生学习习惯的重塑。笔者在教学过程中着重培养学生以下几个方面的学习习惯：
（1）使用工具书的习惯
学好英语，相关的工具书是必备的。一是指导学生选择一本词典，将词典作为英语学习的良师益友，学会查阅词典，强调英英对译。让学生遇到词汇方面的问题时，首先自己动手查阅词典而非被动等待老师解答，这样学生对于词汇的印象会更为深刻；二是准备一本好的语法工具书，经常翻阅，逐渐将语法知识消化吸收；三是学生要养成平时收集阅读过程中的词汇、短语和文化背景资料的习惯，使所收集资料成为学生的第三部“工具书”。
（2）开口讲英语的习惯
新课改突出强调以学生为主体，提高学生的语言应用能力。针对民族地区学生课堂英语学习难开口的特点，笔者认为可以从以下方面鼓励学生多讲英语。一是坚持英语课堂值日报告，每堂英语课前五分钟由学生做值日报告，内容、题材不限，学生表现作为期末考评内容之一；二是多开展英语演讲、歌唱活动，寓教于乐；三是营造宽松的课堂环境，消除学生讲英语的恐惧感，老师应以鼓励为主。
（3）整理错题的.习惯
要求学生对于每一次作业和考试中的错误，建立专门错题集，用不同颜色的笔分析、整理，归纳总结错误原因。对于错题，要求学生当天整理，定期复习，考前必看，减少考试中类似错误的发生。整理错题的习惯，可以完善学生知识体系，提高复习的效率，做到有的放矢。
2.查漏补缺、夯实基础
（1）补习语言基础知识
利用开学前几周的时间，集中对学生的语音知识、重点语法知识、重点的单词、短语和句型三大块进行补习。首先，对学生进行20个元音音索，28个辅音音素的教学，老师先做示范，学生认真模仿，矫正自己的发音，然后根据拼读规则学会拼读单词，并在读的过程中注意重读、浊化。只有把单词读准了，单词才能记得牢，提高英语口语和听力才有可能；其次，复习初中重点的语法知识，比如划分句子成分，五种简单句式结构，几种时态和简单从句的应用等；另外，以检测的方式复习初中重点单词和短语以及句型。
（2）语言应用能力的培养
培养学生的阅读技能和写作技能，提高学生应用语言的能力。阅读能力的培养方面，要指导学生阅读一些课外经典英文读物，扩大阅读面，同时开展课堂限时阅读练习，提高学生的阅读速度，另外，在课文教学过程中有针对性地培养学生猜词、概括文章大意的能力。写作能力培养方面，要鼓励学生多看优秀范文，平时做好句型句式的积累，同时要规范学生的书写。
3.充分利用信息技术促进教学
理县七一中学经过灾后重建，设施设备非常完善，是四川省中小学现代教育技术示范学校。每间教室配有多媒体和电子白板，为有效开展初高中英语衔接教学创造了条件。笔者认为，可以充分利用学校良好的资源条件，通过视频和影像资料，创新教学模式，丰富课堂教学内容，激发学生的学习热情。

english is spoken by many people in the world。 it is becoming more and more useful in our life。
i have learned english for many years。 in class, i try to listen to the teacher carefully and speak english as much as possible。 after class, first i go over the lesson, then ,i listen to tapes,watch english programs on tv ,read english corner and so on。 i study hard so i'm good at it now。
